Kamen: Bloom
The third installment in his conceptual seasonal EP collection. For the most part, Kamen abandons the sampled hip-hop style production for a more R&B/Soul and Jazz influenced instrumentals, accompanied by a top line vocal melody. It is apparent that he's taken the time to flesh out every musical idea into a full-fledged song having only one song under 2 minutes (apart from the intro and outro of the album). Kamen's music this time around has more depth and detail than ever before and the album flows perfectly from one track to another. A step up both musically and production-wise from his previous projects.
